From day one we have been impressed with the work of Devin Hollars and his construction crew. If you are considering significant or what may seem simple repair, renovation or construction, we would strongly recommend Devin Hollars Construction (DHC). After our initial mountain house purchase, we had an evaluation of our decking system (three tiers) by DHC-we knew the job was much needed and it turned out to be more needed than we thought. In all phases of this project, from the understanding of what our structure actually was to what we needed and how to accomplish, was easily, patiently and thoroughly explained by DHC. The ability to navigate the terrain (a sloping one acre), good suggestions for alternative solutions to constant pop up problems, the ability to accomplish tasks timely and neatly, not to mention the doggedness needed to address permitting at the outset—all these things were so very well handled by DHC. Also, the quality and attention to detail of the output of this company have been exemplary from the outset. We have seen a commitment and ability to deliver quality at each level of undertaking we have done and it’s been a lot more than just the complete decking replacement. The oversight and connection to subs for various tasks has been excellent and timely, we always feel informed, there is always answers to our questions and contact has never been an issue. Devin has always been responsive and professional. These days it seems contact can be lacking but not with this contractor. Our experience with Devin Hollars Construction, was a good one, no complaints. Recommending them is a pleasure and our neighbors have inquired with Devin after seeing his work. They witnessed a clean job site and the efficient work ethic, from start to completion. Our job, in 2023, consisted of a two story addition with a complete master bathroom, mud room, side entrance and porch, along with a stone retaining wall and fence, with no nightmares, or time restraints. When something did come up, it was rectified, no problem. Aside from being pleased with the outcome of that job, we are on Devin’s schedule, to have our front entrance aesthetically match the new side entrance, which looks amazing!
